Any Doctor Who fans wondering what happened to Brian at the end of series seven’s hair-raising episode The Angels Take Manhattan have had all (well, some) of their questions answered today in a new online mini-episode.

P.S. What Happened to Brian and the Ponds reveals the fate of Brian, Rory and Amy after their battle with the Weeping Angels. The scene was originally scripted by Chris Chibnall for inclusion in the The Angels Take Manhattan, but was ultimately never shot.

However it has since been brought to life in the new clip, which combines storyboards and a voice-over by Arthur Darvill, and is available to watch now below:

The Angels Take Manhattan was the last regular episode of Doctor Who to be screened in 2012, and the remainder of series seven will air in 2013 following this year’s Christmas special.

Earlier this year, speaking about the departure of long-time companions Amy and Rory, Doctor Who star Matt Smith said: “You have to embrace the changes that come.”

“I can’t imagine Karen, Arthur and I ever losing touch. We’re simply too close for that. It’s been three years and we’ve spent practically every day together.”
